For the first time on youtube, 'I Teach You' brings you a set of lessons to teach you how to design an induction or asynchronous motor from A - Z including Mathematical Construction, Simulation and Physical Construction of the motor.
This set of lessons runs over a few episodes and continuous watching by every episode of each part is important to stay without being confused. Once you miss a single episode, you won't be able to catch up and understand clearly the next activities going on and it is for sure.
Starting from the Mathematical Structuring towards the Motor Construction, we will show you gradually of how a single phase induction motor is going to be built finally as a brand new motor.
In this exercise, we chose the following specifications to have in our motor design initially before the mathematical calculations.
Required Output Power: 0.75HP
Voltage: 230V
Phase: 1
Frequency:50Hz
No Load Current: 1.5A
No Load Speed: 2990rpm
Rated Current: 4A
Rated Speed: 2900rpm
Efficiency:90%
But later, by doing relevant calculations and applications, we were able to construct our single phase induction motor with the following specifications at the end as the physically designed motor in the real-world and each and every phase of the construction will be discussed in this set of lessons gradually.
Hence it is important to stay tuned with us continuously at every episode.
Max. Nominal Output Power: 0.9HP (Capable for another more mechanical losses)
Voltage: 230V
Phase: 1
Frequency: 50Hz
No Load Current: 1.35A
No Load Speed: 2996rpm
Rated Current: 3.28A
Rated Speed: 2947rpm
Efficiency: 91.97%
Tested Period: 8 Hours Continuous Run
For our output power of 0.75 HP, Rated Current: 2.82A

Part No 2: This is the Simulation part of what we designed mathematically and in this part, you will be learned of how you can compare and predict the performance of the design, you made by mathematics. Hence you are able to figure out about your motor before it gets built up as a physical outcome.

Part No 3: This is the part of building motor we designed and simulated in the real world and in this section, we will show you gradually of how we are going to build-up the following motor with respect to the given structure and values or findings we obtained after our mathematical implementation. Hence, as a result, we will show you the real world designed motor and a comparison of results we analyzed in our three stages.
